The Second Sunday in Advent
All are Welcomed!
Sunday Dec. 10, following the 9 o'clock service we will complete
the decoration of the sanctuary , putting up the manger, etc. All other decorations have already been completed by the
Detweiler family for David and Anna's wedding. Beautiful! There will be a coffee hour following.
Dec. 24; Some of the plans are not yet complete, but there will be a final rehearsal and run thru for the evening service late morning.
The candle light service will be at CCH church at 7 PM . There will
be a collection at the service going to Neighbor Helping Neighbor.
The last Hunters Breakfast was Nov.25, another very good
morning with a full house a lot of the time. Counting all three
breakfasts about 430 meals were served. The whole project was very successful, lots of good food, and good fellowship.
Sending out a very big thank-you to all who attended, and all .
who worked, without you all it couldn't have happened.
Children's Time is again included in the service after a summer break. Volunteers would be very much appreciated to help with this part of the program.

Morning Bible study tries to meet on Tuesdays according to members schedules. 9:45 AM at the Parsonage. If you are interesting in attending and want to know more, please call Joan Sargeant 434-2260.
Our church does collect non perishable food items which are given to the food shelves in Richmond and Hinesburg. The collection container is in the vestibule leading to the sanctuary. Please think about bringing an item when you come to the Church.
The Community Church of Huntington is yoked together with the
First Baptist Church of Starksboro sharing the same pastor and occasionally sharing services.
